Drs. Lamb and Lauzon Poised to Represent the UCSD Combined Program in Balint "Intensives"

Each year the UCSD Combined Family Medicine & Psychiatry Program supports the traditional UCSD Family Medicine program by providing senior combined residents to lead its Balint groups.  This month, Dr. Kristy Lamb will travel to Seattle, Washignton for a 3 day "Balint Intensive" put on by the American Balint Societyand will join current Balint leader Dr. Shayna Davis as a Balint group leader for the combined and family medicine residents in the 2011-2012 academic year.  Also, her colleague Dr. Vanessa Lauzon will be going to the Fall ABS "Intensive" as well.  In this way, the experience of facilitating peer-peer groups of professionals is integrated into the combined training curriculum.  Congratulations to both Drs.
