Congratulations to Drs. Kristy Lamb and Kai MacDonald on their recent publications!

Two members of our "combined family" with particular interests in attachment and dynamic psychotherapy have recently published two papers on the role of oxytocin and attachment in the psychotherapeutic relationship. Current combined chief resident Dr. Kristy Lamb has been working with her mentor, UCSD Combined program alum Dr. Kai MacDonald, for the past 3 years. Dr. MacDonald has an active psychotherapy practice in San Diego and remains a volunteer faculty member in the UCSD Department of Psychiatry, as well as conducting research on the role of attachment in the psychotherapeutic relationship.
