Although the out-patient continuity home of the UCSD Combined Program is at St. Vincent de Paul and its associated clinics, combined residents get a wide range of clinical experiences in several different settings.  This is important because, although training at "home" provides an invaluable clinical experience with medically ill and underserved patients, the curriculum also prepares residents to settle in to practices in insured and managed care settings.
