Richard Novotny, MD

Dr. Novotny, is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to practicing the full breadth of primary care and caring for patients of all ages, including children and adults. He is skilled in chronic disease management while also focused on preventive medicine and helping patients strive for their best health.
He enjoys fostering relationships with his patients and empowering individuals to take an active role in their health. He speaks fluent Spanish and has experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. His expertise includes performing joint injection procedures for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Novotny also performs gynecological and contraception procedures such as insertion of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and implants.
Dr. Novotny completed a residency in family and social medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Novotny earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California. He is board-certified in family medicine.
Dr. Novotny is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Practitioners.
Outside of work, he stays active through snowboarding and bicycling. Dr. Novotny also enjoys traveling and Latin American history.
