The Combined Underserved Rotation
for Outside Residents
The Combined Program offers an "Underserved Rotation" for family medicine or psychiatry residents from residency training programs outside of the University of California, San Diego. The rotation is one month long and includes a hybrid of clinical work and a small manageable project to be completed during the month that benefits the community. We hope that by offering the rotation, we can provide some of the benefits of underserved medicine to trainees from other programs that may not have the opportunity to provide this experience for their residents.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer the rotation each month... however, if you are an interested resident, just contact us and let us know of your interest and we'll let you know about availability and how to apply.
