The UCSD Combined Program in Other Interesting News

St. Vincent de Paul Village is a little more beautiful thanks to a team of 45 students and 20 staff members from UC San Diego who stopped by on November 13 for a day of landscaping and kitchen support. The visitors were part of the university’s “Volunteer50” program, an initiative conceived by Chancellor Marye Ann Fox to encourage volunteerism throughout the greater community. The chancellor herself (who is in Washington, D.C. today receiving the National Medal of Science from President Obama) was on hand to help the group clear brush, plant flowers and prepare vegetables for the noonday meal at the Paul Mirabile Center.

Here in the Combined Residency continuity clinic, we rely on many UCSD undergraduate and graduate program volunteers to assist with important programs like our medication patient assistance program which is essential to getting out patients what they need to stay healthy...

Thanks to everyone!  To learn more about volunteering in the clinic, call 619-233-8500 ext. 1401.
