Dr Jeff Norris - St Vincent de Paul Village Medical Director
While going to the University of Utah Medical School, I took one year off to complete an epidemiology fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. I then completed residency in Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of New Mexico, serving as the Chief Resident my third year. As someone committed to public health, community health, underserved care, and social justice, I have found Saint Vincent de Paul Village Family Health Center to be a perfect home for me. Working with the combo residents day in and out is energizing and invigorating; the work we do has purpose and truly impacts the patients and community we serve. As the Medical Director, I actively engage residents in quality improvement, workflow improvements, and public health initiatives. I have a passion for evidence-based medicine and often push my residents hard to think critically about how they care for patients. When not at work, I enjoy running, biking to work, going to the beach, going on road trips in my RV, and hanging out with my spouse and our dog.
